About ComiXComps

I'm a comic collector, and this is being built because I got tired of using a million and one apps.

One app held the catalog. Another had the values. A third had the news. None of them would tell me the thing I actually wanted to know: what a book I own is worth today, and whether this is the moment to sell it. So I'm building the one that does, and I'm building it around the rule I wish the others followed — show me the receipts, or tell me you don't have them.

Who runs it

ComiXComps is built and operated by 8typical, a small Texas business just south of Fort Worth. It's a standalone product with its own accounts and its own billing; nothing about your collection is shared with anything else we do.

What we use, and credit

Catalog data comes from the Grand Comics Database, a volunteer nonprofit, and is credited on every page it appears. Guide values come from PriceCharting under a paid license. Sale receipts come from public auction records, and every verified value links to the sales behind it.
